So.... I’ve had this Kryptonite for about 6 months and has dropped 5 babies and look nothing like the mother. Will these start to get the black splotches later on down the road? Or will they stay solid green. Three of the babies are as big as the mother and the others are still too small to tell.

Interesting and good to know. I bought a krypto that is all green like your babies and was told the darker patches would come in with time. It has started to develop a kind of blueish mottled look to it. I’m hoping that is the start of the darker patches.

It’s dropped 3 babies now before developing color, so I’m patiently waiting at this point.

All mushrooms are different. depends on lineage of the mushroom and sometimes the momma can produces random babies. I had a Jawbreaker mushroom make a baby half red half orange. sometimes it can take 6 moths for them to get color. Nice looking shroom you have though!

How did this shroom produce babies? What was it mounted on when a baby developed?

Thanks for the info... they look like they’re starting to “blotch up” which is good. When the momma mushroom moves it leaves behind a little piece of the foot in turn produces a baby...

Thinking of buying one, because I already have an order so wouldnt have to pay shipping but truthfully hoping to propagate them! If i have to wait forever to turn it wouldnt be worth the investment If oyu were to cut the mother thats alreay all colored up them wouldnt the babies that you cut be colored as well?
