Kz coral snow made cyano spread

I have a bad cyano outbreak turned lights off dosed coral snow an zeobak for the first time an the cyano has spread all over sand in a few hours is this normal?

Never used coral snow so cannot help. Never heard of that as a treatment for cyano. Is that something someone recommend?

It might just be coincidence. I've never heard of this association before and don't really see a clear reason for it.

I've used Snow (and other KZ additives) for over 10 years and have never seen this happen with cyanobacteria
