I use Kz flatworm stop as an additive and not for treatment for AEFW. I don’t use GFO but I do use activated carbon. I’ve had good experience with using it this way.

Thanks, the company just confirmed that it’s okay to run GFO and Carbon while dosing. Been using it to treat AEFW although I didn’t start with a huge infestation. Haven’t seen one in months.

Keep an eye out. I think KZ helps corals but my personal experience was that it does not remove AEFW. Just my experience but be prepared.

Thanks @ScottB. Been dosing for 5 months, shooting for 6. It’s still a head scratcher as to whether it works or not, acros for the most part are doing well, but noticing some paling at the base in some pieces. Not sure if it’s related to lighting adjustments or parameter swings, but gonna try to shoot for stability and see if flatworms are the issue.

Took a power head to my acros yesterday and noticed no flatworms. Had all flow off too. I was worried turkey basting would not be strong enough.
