This is my first Saltwater Setup so I'll be taking it nice and slow

15 gallon Landen 45P
Cobalt Neo-Therm 100 watt
NICREW HyperReef 100
AI Nero 3
Marco Rocks
CaribSea Aragonite

Next to set up is dosing pump (for future use), and ATO.

Lights are staying off for the next month or so. Ghost feeding daily with fish food flakes to try get cycle going. Purple rock is some live rock from a friends tank to help with cycle.

Might not be an update for another month or two except for small equipment changes.

Looks like you're off to a good start! Taking it slow is the best approach in this hobby so you're spot on there...

Remember that it's not about who has the best equipment but more about adopting good routines and gaining as much knowledge as you can!

Have you all ready picked out an ATO? If not, the Tunze Osmolator Nano 3152 Auto Top Off has been working really well for me for my 20g. Might be worth a look for you. Good luck with your first setup! Sure it will be great!

I picked up an Fzone ATO while black friday sales were on for $50ish so I'll run that one till it konks out.

With the lid on, I'm a little skeptical as to how much I'll actually need to top off the tank however I'm going for consistency here to avoid as many problems with water quality as possible.

How’s it coming along? How do you like that Landen?

Been slowly cycling the tank. Got super busy with work lately and haven't really done anything else with it. Will post updates as I go on but as mentioned, they'll be slow for starters

The tank is beautiful, I love it and the design so far!
