Long shot but I thought I would try here before I begin building my own. I’m looking for a 500 gallon acrylic tank. I prefer it to be long instead of tall (8ft). It can be in rough shape! Let me know if you have one or know someone that does. Or even the acrylic to build one. I’m located in the twin city area.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
