My wife caught this pic of my grandson Parker enjoying the creek... thought it was a good shot.
This is Lindley Creek, where it runs across our property, ends up in Pomme de Terre reservoir, eventually the Osage river. Named for a family of settlers that over-wintered here in a horse drawn wagon. The creek is known for being a good place to find arrowheads and other Indian artifacts... Which is what Parker is doing. Searching for arrow heads :)
Ok, it's not saltwater... and there's no fish (to speak of) this far upstream, but I thought it was worth sharing :)
