Late summer "Spring Cleaning"

Because of a ton of personal matters, my tank maintenance routine has been a wreck for the past month. This weekend I went through both tanks like Mr. Clean. My main focus was to break down and clean all pumps. I'm glad I did. Many were not working at peak efficiency and one drive pump was as close to freezing up from calcium deposits as I want to get.

I post this because I feel good that all components are clean and pushing water at peak efficiency. But I also post this to remind people that, if you haven't torn down your pumps and cleaned the impellers in a while, it's probably time to break out the vinegar.

Dang!! When you said "spring cleaning" I thought you were going to send us some corals! lol Now, Gary, you will just have to take more pics of your nice clean tanks to share with us! Debbie
