It's been a while since my skimmer was producing very little foam and not skimming much.
Clearly, there was a problem. I thought maybe it was because I hadn't cleaned my skimmer for 100 years. So I tried cleaning it. I say clean, but it was just scrubbing with running water, no vinegar or other chemicals were used. Then the skimmer started to work 10,000 times better.
Maybe cleaning it helped?

The air line is the big one for me me. Long before anything else gets jammed that clearly gets a little clogged. If you just pour maybe an ounce of RODI water down the line every month or 2 it in my experience makes a world of difference.
