My lawnmower is a bit fat is it bad for him?

Ya probably should put him on a diet lol just kidding. Mine looks like that too. I'd much rather have fat fish vs skinny ones.

Yeah he does have plenty algae but he does have a skunk shrimp to help in the tank as well as hermit crabs

Mine isn't not much of an algae eater despite their name. My first one wasn't either but it's probably because I over feed.

I agree about fat vs skinny fish. Might feed a little less, though, if only to help keep up water quality.

No- it should be.
They require meats and calcium more than they do algae. This is likely overfeeding though
