I have developed a leak in my CADE 1800 S2 glass sump after 3.5 years. The floor of the stand is slightly bowed along the front edge of the sump appearing to put upward pressure along the front glass. I have siliconed the sump and stopped the leak. Plan on putting in a stronger stand floor and replacing the sump. Has anyone else had this issue?

I haven't .... But in much of the reading I've done support seems to be one of the things people believe causes these issues. With my new tank install i went the extra mile to get concrete footers and 4x4s under where the tank was going to be placed.... I just wanted things rock solid.

I am confused, seems like you are talking about your floor bracing and he is asking about the flooring/base inside the stand. I'm curious about Cade sump leaks too, seen a couple messages about them.

Hi there,

To add some insight, AlgaeBarn is working closely with @Anchorboy to ensure that even though the sump is outside of the manufacturer's warranty, it is taken care of suitably for both parties.

I think you are referring to a few posts about sumps leaking during setup or in the immediate weeks following, meaning they were damaged in the shipping process, all of which were taken care of under the CADE delivery, or manufacturer warranties. I am happy to answer any questions you might have about the CADE sumps or any other questions you might have!
