So I have this leather coral in my 75 gallon soft coral tank. Since I moved it out of my 90 gallon tank it just doesn't seem to be doing good. I moved it to a lower area on the rock work to see if maybe the light was too much for it at its original location but I'm not really sure on where to go with it. All my parameters are in line as they should be. There is no difference in water quality from the 90 gallon to the 75 gallon. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do? Thanks.

Looks like it's just shedding. Should be open in at most 2 weeks, though if it starts dissolving than it might be too late. Did you just move it? I have a leather that stayed closed for one month after I moved it to a new tank. Doing just fine now

How long has it been in the new tank? What are your parameters?

If it's only moved, could just be time. Leather doing leather things.
It's been in the tank almost a week. My parameters are as follows:
Nitrate: 0
Ammonia:0
Nitrite: 0.1ppm
Phosphate: .25ppm
KH: 196ppm
Calcium: 420

seems like your tank isn’t cycled based off your parameters.

maybe doing some water changes 15-25% daily would help.

Phosphate and nitrate should be a ratio of 1:16 ideally. Corals need nitrate to survive. Leathers can easily take a week to settle but your parameters are out of wack. It's possible your tank isn't cycled as above states. What test kits are you using?
