Leather Coral napping ?

Came home today and one of my big leathers is shrink up napping .. the other one is wide open and soaking up the light… Is there reason for concern? No previous signs of stress

Almost looks like it is getting algae or rot near the base attachment point?

I wouldn't worry about it, but the algae spot may be the beginning of something?

Thanks I will try to keep an eye on it … maybe try to clean base with soft toothbrush

The other thought was it is bending over to grab onto the rockwork with the trunk? I have not seen that before, but please update as this unfolds, thanks!
