hey guys

im more a stony coral guy..
but I did buy a frag of a very bright toxic green leather coral with white polyps..

any idea what this is?

you can really blast leathers if you acclimate them to higher light slowly, i found that mine is open much more with high light and high flow, they will also go though opening and closing cycles throughout the day, thats most likely what you're seeing.

yeah.. I mean I will just leave it on the bottom because theres no space on the rockwork..
it might still look cool if it grows on the bottom right?

That’s a Neon Sarcophyton, possibly a Sarcophyton ehrenbergi, most leathers come in a green or beige colour however on a rare occasion you will find a Toxic Green Leather from any genus.

Neon green with neon green polyps
I have a Lobophytum species exactly like that. He’s currently shedding however here’s a photo from today and a while ago, although filter’s don’t do it justice so the old one is filtered and the new one is unfiltered :)
