Came home today to fund this. I think its dead.

Doesn’t look dead to me. Put it in the tank and give it time to settle in—a couple of weeks. I think you will be amazed with how many different ‘looks’ a leather can take on. Keep us posted. :cool:

I moved it to a different tank and left the window open. It smelled so bad. I almost puked.

All leathers smell bad (even when alive) regardless. As long as they're not rotting, it should be fine.
the smell is stronger than yesterday. But the drags are surviving. It came off the rock it was on and laying on the bottom of the tank and rotting in a qt tank for corals.
