I have had this leather for about 3 years now. Was doing really good in the old tank. I moved it to my new tank about a month ago and it started to develop what looked like a hole in the center. It has gotten a little bigger since. The polyps don’t come out as much as they used to either. Should I cut it up and start over or will it come back. Temp is 78
Salinity 1.025 nitrates around 10
Phosphate .008
Ph is 7.8 That is what it always is haven’t had a lot of success in raising it.
Don’t have an alk or calcium test kit

Do a search on holes in leather corals. It's not an uncommon problem. You may have to frag it up to get rid of the hole.

Good luck.
