Has anyone figured out a way to dim the Quanta Pro lights?

I got one a year ago or so and like the quality but they seem to be perpetually backordered on the 48” fixtures so although I was originally thinking I’d get more quantas to make a complete set I may end up doing something else.

No dimming, but I think Luca is coming out with an upgraded version of the pro bars soon.

Usually it is just a driver replacement if run at constant current.
Replacing a non- dimming driver with a dimmable can be a challenge sometimes though.

What are the output specs on the power supply?

strongly disagree

Agree to Disagree.

There are thousands of aquarists that only run LEDs with no issues. Ive been running a coral farm with only LEDs, and know about 5 other vendors that do the same.

I'm not going to argue that other lights may have more par or more UV or any of that. However for 90%, LEDs are more than perfectly okay.

You’re certainly right about that.

But, to say that t5 aren’t really needed is subjective. The blanket of light they provide is unparalleled. Not trying to be rude at all and apologies if i came off as such.

Like many say, the combo of both is amazing
