Girlfriend wants to set up her 29 gallon soon. I recently switched to led from t5 on my 55 gallon tank. I have a DIY rapid led fixture and would rather not go through the pain again for her tank. Looking for something in the $200 to $300 range. We may go t5 but would prefer not to have to change bulbs

i just purchased leds from acanlighting and couldnt be happier.

I've seen a bio cube with acan lighting and loved it! That was the first fixture I looked for but they are pretty pricey. The most I'm willing to spend is $300

I paid 129 for mine last week. Here is a pic.

I need a 30 inch fixture that can maintain SPS. Might be stuck doing a cheap t5 fixture with ati bulbs

I've got one for my 29 (not biocube) being built by a member on here. I bought the parts and had them shipped to him. You could pm him for a quote.

Mine is going to have 10 royal blue, 3 hyper violet, 3 true violet, 2 deep red, 2 cyan, 2 warm white, 2 cool white, and 4 neutral white with 2 meanwell dimmable drivers.

I can build my own, I love my rapid led fixture on my own tank. But I work 6 days a week now and really don't feel like fooling with it. Might end up having to do so. Also I won't be able to suspend this fixture from the ceiling like mine. Maybe ill sell a few frags to make up the difference for the acan lighting
