purchased beamswork double bright reef led

i know these are cheap. i was actually thinking about changing the bulbs out for xlamps cree led, i dont know if i will. prob end up breaking the thing. my tank is 18 inches high so i think these might work for me, for corol. a lot of led fixtures out there i dont think penetrate 24-30 inch deep tanks. i dont have a lot of money to spend on lights, i hope i didnt take an axe to my foot.

if anyone has tried the beamswork reef light please let me know

That is definitely not enough, 18 1 watt LEDs will not do the job. there are other no name fixtures on ebay, look for 3 watt LEDs, cree or bridgelux. What are your tank specs, I'll find you something that will work on eBay, you can also try DIY.

I have 2 of these units over my 72 bow front and my sps and lps both love this light!! also have the dimming ability for fine tuning the light.. only thing i would suggest is getting a royal blue LED bar to suppliment with and make the corals pop even more.. i got one but its JMHO.. but all in all awesome light for an awesome price
