Another newby:tongue: been doing a lot of reading on led lighting, dont under stand what they mean
about degree of lighting and why would i need to know. pls make me under stand:squigglemouth:

Yes,the degree of the lenes, done lots of reading but know one has said a thing about this

Its exactly what it sounds like. They are lenses that focus light. Really depends on what you're doing with the light. Ledgroupbuy has (or at least had) a page that explained it.

It's going to depend on how deep your tank is and how high you're mounting the fixture. Tighter lenses will tend to give you the disco ball effect. .
