so i’m all wired up and now my main obstacle is trying to remember what the programming instructions were o_O

does anyone have a solution for how to enclose these wires?

Start at 7:48... add shrink tube if you like,

Just a follow up to this. Am using this power supply and it gets noticeably hot

. Temp gun says around 110F. My assumption is that it’s the difference in voltage/amperage?

Those cheap bricks usually run hot-ish..so a sort of no to your question.

Great advice @oreo5457, I am a fan of the meanwell power supplies. Great quality for the price and UL listed unlike some of the chinese power bricks.

Okay, so the replacement that I bought just crapped out. Can you guys point me in the right direction? I assume that the brick, which always ran too hot for my comfort, has had some kind of overload protection kick in as it just continually power cycles. The unit fires up fine but the led on the brick flips on and off every couple seconds. The original power supply on this light was non standard voltage, so at best I’m trying to get close. Just not sure what different supply I should try next

Yup. And so these drop down options on the power supply? I’m assuming at 55 x 3w LEDs they are running around 150 for all of them lit up.

Got the meanwell, a couple questions:

1. Do I set the input voltage to 115? It comes set to 230.

2. The line to the light panel only has white and red. Is white neutral, red is live, ground is unused?

3. Looks like there are two sets of terminals for inputs - my plug is ungrounded so just one positive and negative each used, right?

4. I see the voltage adjustment screw on the corner, do I need anything special to adjust the output voltage to 23v?

Sorry for all the questions, I’m not super familiar with DC power supplies.

Also, looks like I had it backwards - there are two sets of outputs, not inputs.

With only the red and white lines to my light, is positive red and negative is white?

And do I need a multimeter to
adjust the voltage to 23v?

Still not sure on the input voltage. Being in US, does this need to be flipped to 115v?

Brown is ac line..so all the rest check.

AC input: 85~132Vac / 170~264Vac selectable by switch.

Yes change it to 120.

Yes you need a meter to set the voltage.

Thanks for all your help oreo! The new power supply is up and running. I have a multimeter on order - but for now it's running at 24V with no problems.
