Hello reefers,
I am working on setting up my 40B, as my first tank. I was thinking about going with T5/LED hybrid because it seems like I can just run the T5 and do fine, but add the LED for color/aesthetic and to get better penetration if I wanted to grow SPS down the road. I currently only want a few softies and fish until I'm used to running a reef.
I was wondering if this approach made sense?
I was also wondering what kind of bulbs would be best to use? up to this point all my research has been focused on LEDs, but it seems like T5/LED would be better in the long run.
