LED/T5 Hybrid

I currently just run a single LED light over my tank and everything is growing well. I would, however, like to get slightly better spread and coloration so have been looking into T5s and will likely go with an ATI Coral Plus and Purple Plus Bulb if my dad lets me go this route. Has anybody used a 2 tube T5HO fixture before and can you reccomend one to me? As I said before the only real purpose is to kill off some shadows and make the colors look better so I am only looking for something that will fit 2.

I know I've heard of some folks getting a standard fluorescent fixture from like Home Depot or something and running ATI bulbs in them. You'll forfeit any sort of control-ability except for bulb combination but you'll likely get the spread you're looking for. Otherwise you might be able to find a good aquatic life fixture floating around that will be optimized for aquarium use.

Thanks! I'll take a look at home depot and see if there is anything that seems like it would work well. I don't mind the lack of control-ability because I just need them to turn on and off which I can do with a timer.

I use 2 reef brites dual t5 fixture to supplement. I haven't added my leds yet since they are on another tank and I'm waiting on this one to mature so I can move my sps. So far on a 93 cube they are doing well with lps and softies
