my led's don't carry sunrise and sundown effects can you put timers on the lights so the blues can turn on first and then the whites and also when you finally set them to your coral liking does it stay like that night and day

Yes, as long as the blues and whites are on a separate plug and can be controlled independently. That is how mine are set up.

Last night adjusted them lets see today how they react first day of new led's some of them.specially softies loved it the lps not yet going to put them on timers

Which leds are you running brand? You need separate controllers or in other words if no timer function separate power plugs to control seperately

Well they've been running all day today and everybody is getting adjusted pretty good let's give it as few more days leds are about 7 inches from the water

Yes been noticing that ,I red you really don't need so much white blue is what corals are looking for to grow imitating deep water

Yeap this is the thing my house the sealing is 10 feet high so hanging them is going to be out of the question + my wife said no hanging the diy fixture I did gets them as high as 7 inches trying to come up with another way to get them higher I know the higher the more coverage and less of a threat to the corals but right now their doing OK their opening and closing normaly

thats one of my thoughts from the wall you mean right that would e a god way and o could go yp higher the only thing is getting them in the middle of the tank they have to be a little long

Another way is electrical conduit mounted to stand and bent to a 90 deg over tank and paint them
