Lemon Peel Angel Not Eating

I purchased my Lemon Peel Angel 4 days ago and it still hasn't eaten what I feed it. I have tried pellets in garlic, flakes, seaweed clip and frozen mysis...not interested. The only thing the fish does is graze on my live rock. Is this normal? Will the fish die eventually without proper feeding of proteins?

Don't give up hope. I have had fish go longer than that before their feeding instinct kicks in. Brine shrimp can be tried as a smaller 'starter' item-- or cut the mysis you already have into smaller pieces. Also blood worms may work. A little more trial and error.

OK thank you Jumbo. I only have two clown swimming with the Lemon, so I am sure it's not intimidated. I'll try the brine and give it time.

The fact that your fish is grazing on your live Rock is a good sign. Hopefully it is mature with Algae and other goodies for your Fish to Eat. I have a Lawnmower Blenny that eats absolutely nothing except for Tank Algae.

I have had my tank running for about a year now, so it has plenty of algae on rocks. I have never seen any signs of health issues from the two clowns and my chocolate chip starfish.
