Leptastrea skeleton exposes

Anyone seen this before? My leptastrea had been growing well but it’s starting to show some skeleton at the bottom. Just did an ICP test and I’m pretty good on chemistry. Might need to check my nutrients as they tend to be pretty low. I don’t see anything crawling on it but I may dip it anyway. I have a predominately acropora tank and those are all looking good.

You could try moving it to a lower lit area of your tank if you have a heavily lit sps tank this could be your issue.
Leptastreas like lower light IME.

Yea its about mid way up but I have acros in the same area so I might be cooking it.

Acros generally require more par than a leptastrea. I would try moving it down on the bottom of your tank and sitting flat for a couple weeks and see if it starts to recover.
It can take upwards of a month in the right conditions for most of my lps skeleton to recover back with flesh when theres an issue that needs correcting. Usually low alk in my case.

Good call I’m gonna break the frag off and while it’s free dip it and put it at the bottom.
