This is a game. Who wants to give me their best guess?! 😉

If you are referring to the green blob, I would guess GHA & some bacteria slime.

“Green Hair Algae or "GHA" is really a broad term that covers hundreds of species of green simple filamentous algae. These species tend to be simple, fine in texture, and have few distinguishable features. True species level identification requires a microscope.”

“Distinguishing it from look-a-likes: GHA is not coarse or wiry, it should break apart easily when pulled, and should lose form quickly when removed from water. If you can make out a root structure, or a stiff branching structure it is probably not GHA.”

“Manual Removal: Green hair algae can be pulled out easily, and tooth brushed or scrubbed off the rock work. This is easier to do if the rock is outside of the tank. If it is growing from the sand sift it out with a net.”

If this is anything like my tank that GHA is a hat for one of your snails

One of the crabs you pulled out of your rock.
Winner 🏆

Close enough, It’s the decorator crab I bought who ate my Xenia within 5 minutes of going in my main tank so was banished to the same tank of shame as the hitchhiker crabs. He was orange when I got him lol.

He got a little haircut yesterday….

You could deploy him to my Cespitularia, Xenia tank, I need a solid recruit that has goat like tendencies. I kinda hate trimming it myself, but the humorous side in me adores my CB clown, whom after several years decided he was finally ready to get a host and do his thing and act like a clown with an anemone.

Somehow this is Dorito a week later, it’s almost all gone. He didn’t molt, all the zoas and sponge are in the exact same spot. Just look at my handsome little menace 😍
