There are a few that have that kind of a stripe as a juvenile.
True, but it is mature enough to correctly id.

Pseudojuloides genus....wild guess, P. ceracinus...forget that it doesn't have a stripe as juvi/female.

I can see where you are coming frm with that, but alas, not Pseudojuloides cerasinus.

My wrasse are in line for food :)

Paracheilinus attenuatus, diamondtail flasher, that is a male. A very desirable species.

That is what I thought but I didn't think they'd have it in mixed wrasse tank for $40
That one slipped through the cracks; it happens sometimes. They can get mixed in with McCoskers.

The others did look like McCoskers. I'm surprised the owner didn't pick them out. They have a good collection of higher end wrasses.

Diamond tails are going from 250- 500 at LFS up near boston... i wish i could find one for 40

Hi, this guy was labeled as a generic "Fairy Wrasse". Any idea on a species ID? Please let me know if you need a better pic.

Pic 2 is C. rubrimarginatus and C. filamentosus.

And pic 3 is C. filamentosus.

Was sold to me as a McCosker Flasher but they weren't 100% sure.
