Please take this the right way.... I stumbled on to finding your oldest posts. It gave me hope!!! In 7 short years you went from "what is this?!??" For every new sponge to one of the forum masters.

My reefing story was different than most. I was still a kid when we moved into my grandfather’s house that had a 300 gallon tank built cheaply. I had to learn everything the hard way by jumping directly into it.

I wasn’t plumbing savvy. I got really overwhelmed and the only way I was able to survive was to use a forum where I asked every single question imaginable because I had no idea how to even phrase an internet question at the time.

I made a lot of stupid mistakes and I’ve asked really silly questions. I’m super grateful for this forum that held my hand and walked me through the fire.
