Beautiful squamosa!
I'm still new in. I'm still new with clam and wonder if they would move on their own if place in sand bed. Reason I ask, I notice my Derasa rotated today.Just picked up 2 days ago

Never give up, clams are tricky but very rewarding and worth the fight.I'm SO JEALOUS!! I've tried twice to have Maxima Clams, but both died within a week of being in my tank

I got mine from a coral farmers market from unique corals. I did a quick visual inspection before putting it in but somehow missed an aptasia and bubble algae growing on it and now can't get rid of the Gha growing on it. They get all kinds of critters growing in their scales of their shells.Thanks. Both attempts were from Live Aquaria's Diver's Den. I may try to find a LFS that sells them and try that instead.
The extremely rare corraline hippopus!
Thank you. I've never measured par a day in my reefing life. Halide/T5 over the tank and I just pay attention to how they look in there spot.Great clams everyone. What par does everyone have where the clams are placed?
Need to move my Derasa. Jaw fish keep trying to dig under it. Question is, l have another spot in mind but have a huge bubble coral there. Will my bubble sting it?Perfectly normal. They can move until there happy
