Can you get Biota products in England? They have a Bali Colt coral that is very pretty. Here is mine, but now it is so large and bushy. Nice reddish color too. Obviously I am talking about the far left coral.

This was many months ago. This is a 6g tank.

I believe we can get some BIOTA and ORA things over here but I rarely see them. Definitely keeping my eye out of a Colt Coral though.

Got the colt for 35 bucks, after nearly passing out, I got home to realize it was a good deal. I miss when that same coral was 5-10 bucks.

My tank is almost all leathers now.

This is what I want to try and do but with a mix of coral. I already have the scape looking like something you’d find in the Gulf so all I need now are the coral that look somewhat similar but may not be from that area.

These are a few of my leathers:

I’m not sure what this one is exactly but it has the most beautiful bluish green color. It’s also my slowest growing softie almost doubling in size over 4 years.

My neon green sinularia on the other hand grows like a weed! I traded in my large colony for some smaller corals and this is the frag I kept to grow out again. It’s already double its size.

i lost my favorite long tentacle leather to my Ritteri’s which was a major blow to me during the summer….I loved that leather!
So I got another long polyp leather that came with a mini-clone next to it (not as nice as my last one) but hopefully it gets there.

I am not sure if you have leathers because you like them so much or that they are easier compared to some coral. My tank has slowly morphed to being a predominantly softie coral/macro algae display because it is easier. I like smaller water changes and not checking parameters, LOL. My sinularia is my favorite coral right now.
