Hello!

I have a toxic neon green sinularia. have had it since starting the aquarium 10 months ago, can't see that the coral has grown a mm, it had slightly different places at the start when I couldn't get it to thrive. Anyone have any tips? gets about 80 par where it stays. Has completely normal water values. sps and lps grow perfectly fine. since this is a soft coral, you would think it grew quickly.

80 PAR is a bit low IMO, medium light and medium flow will help it grow.

What is your nitrate and phosphate levels? These are important numbers for soft corals, they like nutrients in the water.

I keep a Green Sinularia Leather in the higher end of medium light around 150 PAR and with a strong water flow. It does well. I also dose Phytoplankton daily. I also keep my water parameters fairly steady with dKH ~10, NO3 ~7, PO4 ~.02, CA ~475, Mg ~1350, pH ~8.2.

2 nitrates is super low, almost 0. Means they have no nutrients in the water. Need a phosphate test kit (not API). Nitrate and phosphate will help the soft coral grow.

Perhaps feed the fish a bit more, I add this stuff called "Vitalis Soft Coral Food", I think something like this might help.
