Seems like shallow is the way to go and having a TALL tank i can understand why! LOL but wouldn't trade my TALL tank for anything!!! Please show off your TALL tank since I know that you've been frustrated with the height at times!!! :peep: Please post photos, dimensions, and lighting!!!

What are your par readings on the bottom? Friend of mine was contemplating doing a tall tank and worried about light penetration. Leds vs halides

Bump... Would love to do a tall tank, just to be different from all the shallow tanks. The tall tanks would be nice, because you are able to create more levels.

I went to a tall tank last summer and would never change. The extra foot of height is so much nicer to view and my coral has plenty of room to grow.
My new tank dimensions are 72" L x 36" H x 30" Deep.
