Lets see it!I'll tell you what, @TheMadFragger has an amazing array of equipment. However, it just sits there. Maybe, if we're lucky he'll show us pictures.

Need to extend a few cables and tidy up some stuffI wanted to see what everyone is doing with their Hydros systems!
NiceNeed to extend a few cables and tidy up some stuffI wanted to see what everyone is doing with their Hydros systems!
But I made a free standing unit to hold the gear and a connected ipad
. How are you liking the Hydros system? At our old house I had a full basement so was nice to mount everything .Nice. How are you liking the Hydros system?
I am building an in wall command center for my set up next to the display.
I have heard that the electronics in the sump can mess with the probes. Partly why I got the IV. I also got some manual testing equipment to ensure things run smoothly and stay calibrated. I never will blindly trust a machine but they are handy. At our old house I had a full basement so was nice to mount everything .Nice. How are you liking the Hydros system?

This is a temp home for awhile till we decide where we want to be, so tried to keep everything mobile.
So far I’m happy with how everything is working. I have a Blenny I use for ato and dosing afr, and a launch to do the heavy lifting, like auto water changes etc. So far only thing I’m not thrilled about is the salinity probe, doesn’t seem to be stable but have a few things I still need to try to see if it’s interference or unstable product
You running the pro reef salt as well? I am about to try tropic marin for the first time.I design audiovisual systems for a living so I know all too well the limitations of all electronics. I suspect it’s interference, and if all else fails I’ll build a small acrylic vessel similar to the IV, but a whole lot cheaper as I always have acrylic scraps laying around. The whole board is laser cut 1/2” acrylic, I threw in our big laser.I have heard that the electronics in the sump can mess with the probes. Partly why I got the IV. Nice I’ve been toying with the idea of taking one of those small 6 can mini fridges and drilling it so I can run dosing lines into it and dose phytoplankton and Copopods from it. Right now there in the kitchen fridge and I’m sure the wife hates itMy hydros consist of a blenny, control x4, XP8 , 2 Wave engines v2. It is all connected with command buss cables running under and above with one cable ran through the emergency over flow pipe to connect from under stand to above see pics running from blenny through to other end![]()

i have really liked running the hydros controlers, knowing if i lose one thats all i lose and everything eles keeps running. Have plans for the xp8 to have 4 dosing pumps inside a bevarage fridge to make an auto feeder for tank that will dose photo, frozen food slurry, and two more liquid reef foods for coarls running the discharge from the fridge Y into both return pumps to spread the food through tank by the RFN on the return lines.![]()
Not a 6 can looking at the under counter bevrage fridge that will hold 100 or so cans on amazon for like 200 bucks so i can actualy set the temp in fridge and place to magnetic stiris on bottom with my photo and frozen food slurry on each one to keep it all mixed and have two smaller bottles of coarl refigerated food to dose as well. As i get the stuff i will do a diy food feeding post as right now it looks like i will be able to get a month out of a fill up being it will all be refigerated and keep at proper temp and using a hydros micro pump in sump to flush the food into the return pumps flushing plumbing that runs in and out of fridge every hour but then set the dosing pumps to add food to tube by setting amount and how many times from lights on to lights off based on bio load and amount of food needed fed.Nice I’ve been toying with the idea of taking one of those small 6 can mini fridges and drilling it so I can run dosing lines into it and dose phytoplankton and Copopods from it. What the what? I had to look away fast as I started to feel the seizure coming on.Somewhere in there is a Hydros Minnow and an XP8.

The guy who has the rat's nest above built a mini-fridge for dosing. Well, he didn't build the mini-fridge but he did set it up for dosing. I will also add that his fridge turned out much nicer than his wiring.Nice I’ve been toying with the idea of taking one of those small 6 can mini fridges and drilling it so I can run dosing lines into it and dose phytoplankton and Copopods from it. I have to thank @luis angel for that. Fridge wasn't working and Luis e-troubleshot me through the whole thing! What the what? I had to look away fast as I started to feel the seizure coming on.
