All fish, even BIG fish, have to start from somewhere! And to me when these guys are little they are too awesome! This little Bandit, who doesn't get too big, is just plain cool!

Let's see your photos of your tiny big fish! :p

My Lamarck's Angelfish started as a little 2" long baby.

And is now the dominant fish in the tank at almost 6"+ long.

HOW BIG of the tank do these guys need?

I have a 120gal (48"L x 24"W x 24"D) and the fish is ready to find a larger home.
Being that it is the dominant fish (and acts an angelfish), it will briefly chase a couple the other fish to the point of snapping off some of the corals; so more room would be appreciated.

In February I mistakenly received a yellow belly hippo tang in a shipment from an online vendor. She was about the size of a dime. Her body was almost transparent.

This is after two weeks of tank transfer and another two weeks of observation in a small beaker used to move her to my display. In the 4 weeks of QT she started to get better color and fatten up. She is now close to 2 inches long.

my queen angel in my profile pic was less than an inch long when I got her, she grew into that beauty, shortly after the pic was taken I lost her.

That is actually a blue angelfish. Beautiful fish, and a close cousin of the Queen.
