Man, recommendations are all over the map for dosages. Some say 23mg treat 400gallons and some say 10mg per 20 gallons . That is quite the difference!

So what is the best practice dosage? Have you used that dose with success, and if not what did you use?

I know to remove carbon and UV while the dose is in there (I have neither).
Protein skimmer should have air turned off but sill be one so it gets the medication in it.
I know it will kill all crabs and invertebrates.

I have read it will kill pods, but they will recover. How is that? If it kills the White or grey bug permanently, why would regular pods survive and not the bad guys?

I know it is best to do 3 doses spread out a week apart, so 3 weeks total.

Sometimes (maybe) only the InterceptorPlus with praziquantel is available. Apparently that kills worms too. I'd like to spare my Bristle worms if possible. Would the "Plus" kill them? If I siphoned some worms out and kept them in a QT tank for the 3 weeks would it be safe to re-introduce them?

How about duration? I've seen some people say run it for 6 hours, and some run it overnight - following that with a 10-20% WC and some carbon. Seems like overnight makes more sense to me if it really harms nothing but the bugs why not have a longer exposure?

What else should I or other people reading this know?

I've only used it once for the REDBUG: With 100% success.

-1 treatment of 1/4th of pill of Interceptor Plus (23mg milb+228mg prizi)
-48Gal SPS tank dosed for 36hrs. Dosed when light went off.
-WC 20Gal after 36hrs. Done.

-Removed all the cuc before hand. few lost.
-Did eaxctly that you mentioned. Skimmer on w/o bubble etc.
-Pods were gone. I know I have bristle warm in my system but not sure if they also died out. Micro starfish were alive. I did re-introuce the pods but stopped adding them. If they are alive, i dont see them... Recently a local reefer asked for some live rocks to seed the new tank, i've put big live rock from my sump into a glass jar with few more rubbles and didnt see any.

Link to my streatment post.
