Lets see what everybody is feeding their reef for both fish and corals. What is your favorite food to feed?

I am always feeding Nori to my tang gang, then during feeding time I mix mysis, brine, and LRS reef frenzy 2 times a day.

Really looking to mix it up a bit, what else do you feed looking for suggestions, pellets, flakes, etc.

Thanks

I have about 6-8 different flake foods(mostly similar but some better than others). 2-3 different pellets. Brine. Mysis. Marine cuisine cubes. Fish egg cubes. Nori. DIY homemade food(fresh seafood frozen into cubes). Phyto. Reef Chili(hardly use).

Don’t forget selcon and vita-chem!

I feed a mixture of different freeze-dried foods and pellets:

  • BRS freeze-dried mysis
  • BRS freeze-dried enriched brine
  • BRS freeze-dried copepod powder
  • BRS freeze-dried rotifers
  • BRS Spirulina Powder
  • BRS Paracoccus Powder
  • BRS Golden Pearls
  • Hikari Marine-S Pellets
  • Hikari Seaweed Extreme
  • PE Mysis Pellets
  • TDO Chromaboost
  • NLS Probiotix Pellets
Mix it all up and dump it in my Avast Plank... feeds the tank throughout the day with a wide variety of different foods and different particle sizes, seems to feed everything in the tank well. Many of my corals have never looked better, and the fish love it. Just have to keep phosphates under control...

I am feeding.....

2x/wk Reef Roids

Daily
New life Spectrum R-pellets
PE Pellets
Ocean Nutrition Formula Two Small pellets
Ocean Nutrition Prime Reef Flakes
Ocean Nutrition Formula Two Flakes
1/2 sheet Nori
30ml Ocean Magik Phyto

Frozen - Every other Day
LRS Reef Frenzy Nano
PE Mysis
Ocean Nutrition Pygmy Angel Formula

I ordered a Plank and Reef Jerky about a week ago, I'm excited to get that thing going and use it to dial in my nutrients with a mix of the dry foods above. I don't have a specific amount, I just randomly toss food in when I feel like it but have been feeding pretty heavy Dry food to get my Phosphates up.

Ocean Nutrition Prime Reef Flakes and PE Mysis Pellets. Both are great just flakes are better for my smaller fish and pellets are better for my larger fish.

Wow I think I’m underfeeding now that I see everyone’s list of foods. I just feed flakes pellets and once a week mysis then switch to enriched brine the next week or so. But I only have one green banded goby and boxer shrimp hahahahaha. Feeding those two feeds my corals.
