Hi Friends!
I was a little surprised that BRS in their videos and across the forums, the topic of fire safety isn't really prevalent or covered. After talking to one of my local Fire Marshall friends at the airport, I filmed this video to go over some of his feedback.
I'm curious to know what everyone else is doing to prevent salt creep into their equipment?
Spoiler - for those not wanting to watch, the moral of the story is, 50% of house fires which have aquariums in them (based on the anecdotal comment my friend told me)...is related to folks putting their electronics near their sump...which inevitably generates salt creep (for a variety of reasons)...and then shorting out electronics.
