I received my new WB 35.2 and saw it has a tear on the levelling mat in the back corner. Is this a cause for concern? I touched base with WB and they said it wouldn’t be an issue, but I am a bit worried given that’s it is at the corner where the metal bars connect. If anywhere would have a small height difference to create a pressure point it’s there. I am wondering if I should just order an IM mat and rip this one off. Or just double up and put a new mat over the old one (though I am not sure if this would be a bad idea).

So it "slipped" by quality control and they said no big deal? On a new tank that's the wrong answer. Not saying they should send you a new one but at the minimum they should offer to send you out a new mat. No way you should have to come out of pocket for that. Regardless of whether it's not an issue as they say.

To update, I did reach out to customer service again and they sent a new mat. All is well now.
