I've bought coral twice in the past few days from my local LFS. They just put all the frags in 1 bag of water. They shift around and touch each other the whole time. My Zoas have been closed up for a day now. Is that normal? My lights have been off since I got them.

If they're like species, it wouldn't matter. It's more that your lights are off since getting them.
Like acan and acan or zoa and zoa. But if you get an acan/favias I would worry about them touching zoas or a freshly cut frag touching something else.

As ahiggins said, there's no problem with that if they're the same species... if they're bagging all of your corals together I'd ask for them to bag separate from here on out. As long as your zoas are in med/lower light with a light flow, they should open up relatively soon after adding them

It was zoas and mushrooms mixed. We'll see what happens in a day or 2.
