LFS in central ohio

So due to some family things that are coming up, I'm probably going to be moving cross country back to Ohio from Washington, roughly in the Marion area. Where are the good stores to visit for when it comes time for rebuilding my reef? Distance isn't too big of an issue, I don't mind heading up to Cleveland/Toledo, or even down to Cincinnati to find a good store.

Were a bit south of Cleveland, If your up to drive there are 2 places that are worth the trip
For an actual store we almost exclusively use aquatica aquarium gallery for fish etc and they have normal retail hours

For high end corals and just to see a world class facility, you have to schedule a visit,they don’t have regular hours . Tidal gardens in Copley is defiantly worth a trip for corals

No worries, I’m an engineer so I tend to obsess and over plan everything. Usually to the point of driving my wife crazy

My favorite store in Ohio is probably Aquarium Artisans just north of Cincinnati.

As mentioned, Tidal Gardens and Corals.Com (Warren OH). I’ve been to both. I just picked up corals at Corals.Com on Friday ( curbside pickup only). For fish, Blue Zoo and RMS Aquaculture in Cleveland. Extreme Tropical pets in Youngstown. O-H!

Welcome back to Ohio! I’m actually over in Carrollton, so not too far from the Marion area.
If you’re willing to drive a bit, Coral Vault up near Cleveland is a great stop and has a really nice coral selection. Aquarium Adventure in Columbus is also a solid store if you’re looking for equipment, dry goods, or livestock.
I’ve also heard good things about Gerber's Tropical Fish down in Dayton, and a lot of Ohio reefers seem to make trips there from time to time.
Ohio has a pretty active reefing community overall, so once you’re settled you shouldn’t have too much trouble finding good stores or local hobbyists to connect with. Good luck with the move and the rebuild!
