LFS Or hobbyist‍♂️

Just out of curiosity...does anyone find themselves selling coral back to LFS because it’s too much headache selling directly to other reefers/hobbyist?

I have personally sold to reefer/hobbyist on our local FB reef page and whatnot but find it harder and harder to find trusting reefers out there unfortunate to say.

I’ve posted named items i.e. bizzaro cyphastrea, wwc stellaria chalice, Tyree mummy eye chalice, JF common piece Some as low as $5 and still get peeps low balling a already super low price! Smh‍ I even posted a CSB atleast 5” big for $800 and still local hobbyist complain.

Just wondering if others experience this elsewhere or is my city just too spoiled and saturated?

They give you nothing for it. I had a bully tang I gave to an LFS and expressed its a problem fish and they stated that they cant give me anything as they'd probably give it away to someone with an aggressive tank. 2 days later in the tank at $89.99

I’ve Sold to the LFS In a couple occasions a 100 pack of frags for $400 but they were so awesome they gave me $500. $100 more!! Who does that these days?!

Not that I have much to sell quite yet but I have traded Xenia to both locals and my lfs. I think it depends on your relationship with the lfs if you’ll get any decent offers. I stop by my two at least twice a month and I had a small Xenia frag and 4 red leg hermits that I got $15 for so I was happy with that.
