For those looking for a GREAT overflow box with an even GREATER Track record look to LIFEREEF. Jeff made my box really cool. Black internal box with outer box partion in purple and stabilizing plate in blue. Overall desgin is clear w silencer. Beautiful.

OP: yeah lifereef overflow box would be the only one I wold use if I did not have a drilled tank.

Following up on this. I'm looking for non-drilling solutions to adding a sump. How is it holding up nearly four years on?

In Reference to your question . Lifereef is good but also check out newer Eshoppes as they are available thru Multiple sources and have a smoke grey siphon tube to block algae growth, Also the boxes tend to be thinner allowing for easier placement against a wall. Jeff can make anything you require but the wait times could be longer as he s a one man show, Either one would be fine providing you know what you are doing and have the proper return pump. Good LUCK!
