I have Kessil AP700 and looking for AP700 major diffuser lens. This product had been discontinued for a while and could not find it. My plan is to buy a diffuser from Ecotech radion and retro fit it.

Could you please let me know if this will work even though it is from different brand?

Thanks

Why would you want a diffuser for Kessil lights? They have the best color blending out of the box.

light is focus and create hot spots, some of mine LPS do not do well, I will need to spread out the light better

if you can, hanging the lights higher will even out the hotspots.
I have raised from 7" to 12" from surface water and I still have issue with hot spots, particularly area around light. I have two x AP700 in 48" x 24" x 24" tank, mounted parallel to the length of the tank, one on each side. With max intensity at 40%, it is still too strong for LPS, SPS is doing great.

I am not too happy with these lights.

I had an AP9X on a 24" long tank and found the sweet spot at 18" high. That was for acropora.

It was at 65% and I was getting 300-400 par everywhere in the tank. Keep in mind that the AP9X is a more powerful light.
