I am in the process of setting up my 375 gallon reef. I found a 150 gallon aquarium (24"x48"x30") for a great price so drilled this and plan on using it for my refugium. This will be triton method so water will enter the fuge from a herbie style overflow. This will then spill over into the sump which is a 125 gallon tank. I was trying to decide which light would be best for a fuge this size to maximize algae growth. Mt goal is to be able to run the light 12-14 hours day with overlapping photo period with my tank to minimize pH swings as well as have continuous nutrient export. I don't want my algae growth to be limited by too little light. On the other hand I don't want to photo inhibit but over illuminating the fuge. So in peoples experience which option below would be my best bet?
My current options are:
1. Kessil H160 Flora grow light
2. Kessil H380 Flora grow light
Thanks,
