So I have a quad t5 oddysea fixture that I have had a little over a year now. I was changing the bulbs and the plastic clamps broke inside of it. Can I let the bulb lay on the plastic covering (splash guard) that is provided or will that melt and start a fire. Also does anyone know how I can fix the clamps?

Hmm.. That's not good, I think it would definitely cause a problem. Maybe try super glueing the clips back in place? Let em sit for awhile and gently push the bulb back in?
