OK.. Here is my very unskilled build for my two new Vipar Spectra 165w lights. Since my tank set up has a canopy I had to come up with something different for how to mount the lights.

This is all aluminum with marine grade epoxy to hold it all, I didn't really want screws.

Is it ugly.. Oh yeah. But it's function over form and besides, noone can see it.

Oh.. This is my first with stronger lights. Can someone tell me a good schedule for time and intensity and how to ramp up over time?

Thanks
Dave

If it works...

I have used 3 & 30 to start for my ViparSpectra lights and then slowly crept up from there.

Lights are on and wow. Compared to what I had on previously these are bright. Setting the parameters are easy. I have channel 1,blue at 12 and channel 2,white at 2. Ch1 for 9 hours and ch2 for 7. Slow moves for awhile.
