Hi everyone,

I’m needing advice for lighting a softie/LPS dominant tank. It dimensions are 30x30x24.

I see everyone googly eyed over the ReeFi uno2.1 pros. But while researching them I came across the duo extremes which are on sale for $550. I currently have a single Radion xr15 but I don’t think that’s gonna cut it. A lot of people are also suggesting T5s but I’m having trouble even finding them.

Could I get away with a single Duo Extreme?

Any suggestions extremely welcome. Thanks in advance.

This is according to their website so it seems pretty promising…

With a single light you might experience a lot of shadowing at the edges. Presumably you could counteract that with some supplemental lighting at the edges.
