ok heres the deal. my 120 is mostly sps. on this tank i run an 8 bulb tek fixture. over the last year i've added probably 20 different chalice and brains.from the looks of it and after asking ?'s on here i believe it's just to bright for most of them. some chalice look ok, but the brais all seem to take it hard.so what i decided to do was put everything in my frag tank up for sale real cheap.($5 = bag full of zoas) on my local site larc. needless to say they cleaned me out in one day. so now i'm left with an empty 30 gal frag tank waiting for lps. here's the problem. tank width is 20". i want to go with t5's but the only fixture i see is 24". i may just go this route and block off 2" on each side so light oesn't spill over.i will hang the fixture so it doesn't look odd. and my bulb plan is 3 blue+ and one pink+. i guess i want ot know what would you do? and will 4 24" t5's be sufficiant for all my lps. last which fixture do you suggest. sorry so long, but i wanted yall to get the idea. also the tank is plumed into the display, so there's no getting another tank. nothing else will fit in it's place. thanks for any replys.pic of tank

some chalices prefers higher light such as pb. and most chalies prefer moderate to low light. and a few chalices prefer lower light such as melting pot and acid trips. I'm running 3 t5 bulbs over my 5' x 3' frag tank with a reefbrite bar. it seems to be perfect. if you have any chalices that prefers higher lighting, you can put them in your DT. LEDs are much intense as they appear.
