Thank you community on my last thread! So I have my rocks tbs, my filter from aqua ready, sand and heater but I do need a light.
My tank is a 35 gallon cube 20x20x20, I do want to host some clown/fishes plus an anemone with the hope of adding some corals later down the line once I get more comfortable but
I’ve seen plenty of them on brs and amazon, not sure what would be my best option.
Also if there is any equipment you wish you had during your early stages of building please share,
Thank you !

I'm assuming you mean you've seen plenty of lights on brs and amazon. But to give any sort of guidance we really need to know your budget. Lighting for a tank of that size can range from $100 - $600 or even more.

I would say 100 to that 300 range with some wiggle room

The Nicrew Navareef 135 might be a good option, haven't tried it myself but I've heard a lot of good things about Nicrew as far as budget lighting goes. $169 on amazon. It should be able to handle pretty much any coral you'd want in the tank including a nem.

Personally I would go for any 100 watt light, IMO don't get less than 100 watts. I used a nicrew 100 watt for 4 years on my 32 gallon, and when it burnt out I bought a popbloom rl90. Both are good quality 'lower budget' lights, other good quality 'lower budget' lights are smatfarm, vivarspectra, and there are others that I can't think of now.

I used to use more expensive lights but now use mostly Nicrew gen 2’s. I think a 100 watt version is right for your tank.
