I have a 45 gallon tank that is 4 feet long that is currently a FOWLR tank. I wasn't planning on adding any coral, but I do want a few Anemones and do not want to put them in my reef tank since I have very expensive coral that I do not want to risk loosing when the anemone decides to take a walkabout.

The question is, will 2 AI Hydra 32 HDs be good enough for an Anemone or would I need 3 for a 4 foot tank?

Thanks in advance. ;Happy

It really depends on the anemone species and where the anemone is placed, and eventually ends up. That said, I'd say your lights are sufficient for most anemones, but three would be ideal.
